When Richard Otto founded the business 25 years ago his philosophy was simple, “to make the world a better place wherever and whenever Severn Partnership are involved”

During the following 25 years this message has been instilled in generations of surveyors and is what makes the Severn Partnership experience unique, ensuring that we continue to deliver a value added service to all our customers.

We have always recognised that our people are our greatest asset and continue to invest in a highly trained and skilled workforce in order to deliver the best advice, consistent high quality data and a comprehensive follow-on service.

The development of our team and the services they provide is driven by the ever changing needs of our customers, so we work hard to develop effective long term working relationships and use customer feedback to drive service innovation and our continuing professional development.

We also believe that the best work is done by people who are happy, so we always aim to make the working experience both enjoyable and fulfilling.

This approach applies not only to our work, but is integral to the Severn Partnership way of life. We regularly organise social and extra curricular activities that build effective team working, promote a better understanding of individual capabilities, which when applied in the work environment, help us deliver projects to budget and on time.

We have well established links in our local community, with schools, universities, charities and professional institutions and many members of the team are active in supporting a range of corporate social responsibility projects.

Our commitment to sustainable social and environmental polices means that we provide financial incentives to reduce journeys by car and are always looking for ways to reduce our carbon footprint.

We are convinced that this approach has made a major contribution to the success of Severn Partnership during our first 25 years and are confident that it will provide a firm foundation for continuing success long into the 21st Century.
